Hot Springs Family

This group of pictures was during Easter with my dad. It was the first time he got to see his new grandaughter. He was quite pleased with all the noise in the house when he woke up that morning. The boys love their Grandpa Felton. This is the Crab Apple Tree in our backyard. We sold that house and now we are moving.
My brother with his baby girl. Doesn't she look so cute.
This is my late step-mother's favorite statue. She used to talk to it when she was sick and dying.
This is the crazy Mockingbird that I have ever seen. It talks to my dad everyday and defends his yard for him.

Speak of which this is my daddy. He is a great daddy. Do we favor?
My nephew and learned to skip rocks together and he was estatic.

Went to my mom's house to get our taxes done. It was a beautiful weekend for it. My nephew's were there and so was my baby niece. This is one of the many wild cats that Pop keeps around the house to kill field mice, so he says. The sad part is they keep multiplying.
Here Mom with the boys. They are watching Cars. The boys love that show. Which one do you think is a ham like me?
This is the road to my mom's house. We had to go around the river flooded areas. There is still more rain coming they say.
Every year my mom tends to several beautiful gardens around her house. This year she took a break and is doing more working on the inside. This is one of her flowers that grew any way.
I don't know what kind of birds these are but they were everywhere. The laid on the ground moving and playing with each other. They were pretty.
Gracie doesn't really look excited about being held by Bryan. I think it is that brain tumor she has wrapped around her head. It has to cut the blood off to the brain.

The Big Storm

Thes storm on Thursday night was probably the worst I have ever lived through. I am from tornado country but let me just say that this one was bad. I have never been so scared. We spent most of the night in the bathroom with the dogs. They were both freaked out. We were the lucky ones.

Pine trees seem to have the worst damage. They tend to fall easy, however, it was big old hardwoods that were being uprooted. That was some powerful wind.

This was a neighbors truck. His car was destroyed, too.

The big storm hit our neighborhood and by the grace of God or kismit or kharma or whatever you buy into; we escaped alive and unharmed. This is allt hat matters.

The calm after the storm.
