Part two New Orleans

These pictures were actually by the hotman Bryan. He took them with his i-Phone. He actually is a really good photographer. He got that part of the gay gene that I didn't get. I took this picture because my girl is not here. She is in Oklahoma or Nebraska or some god-forsaken straight hole in the US. Magic we are right there with you. We miss them, too.
The next few photos are when Bryan went to the aquarium. He has such an eye. The moray eel freeks me the white out. He used to have a coral reef aquarium. He also lived in Hawaii and loves reef fish.

I hate jelly fish. I got stung once in Florida and it burned like heck.
This one is a funny for Ellen. This hardware store was across from the gay bars on Burbon Street. It is just to funny.

These palm trees are amazing. This one especially was cool because it had ferns growing out of it. Blowfish are one of my favorite fish. I actually ate some blowfish in Chicago once. Bryan still chews my butt out for that one.
Overall, New Orleans was okay. It is by far not my favorite city but I would go back. We are actually thinking about going back for Southern Decadence.

New Orleans 2008

New Orleans was a blast. Here we are with the bartender from a gay bar on Burbon Street. He was really nice. I flunked Burbon Street 101 that night. But I did better than Bryan on the first night.
Here is MY BOYFRIEND with some guy with a dirty hat. He was very nice. Bryan on the other hand had his night with guys grabbing his but and flirting with him all night. He of course is a little bear cub.

Bryan and I immediately hit the bar. We first went to Bubba Gumps. We met the other teachers that went there for the same conference. Bryan wasn't none to happy about this picture but it is how he looks at me a lot.

I have never been to New Orleans in my life. It was a plae like no other. I am glad that I went. I am glad that Bryan went with me too. It was an experience that I will never forget. New Orleans is a little crazy and a little dirty. Well, a lot dirty actually.

Week Before Spring Break

We have had this orchid for about 5 years now. We bought it and it was full bloom and we thought it would never bloom. However, now we have these two beautiful blooms and we are so excited. They save if you can make a orchid bloom in your house it has great energy.

Art freakiness

Okay. I have met a lot of people in my life that are cool. I have only met a few people that are in my life forever. Outside my childhood friends, I first met this person, Amanda, AKA Blue. She changed my life forever. Other friends that changed my life are Pam Clark, Dee Knott, Mark and Gwyen, Dan, Denise, Mary Zies, Pam Seber, Terrie, Rodney, etc. I mean we meet lots of people in our lives and they have some effect. However, it is those friends that put their mark on you that you will never forget. A recent friend and quite awesome I must admit is Ellen Hagood. She changed the way I look at the world. Bryan, too. She put her mark upon us and we are blessed b/c of it. Here is some art that she inspired into Bryan, Bryan has already made two other ceative dolls. He is really talented. More so than me.

Below are some of my altered books that I started doing in my own journal. I am trying to find the "art" gay in me. I have the cooking gay and the nice gay but I don't have much of the creative gay. Blue has that talent. She is able to be creative. I am trying to build that into me.

I want to own my personal bed and breakfast some day. I can't wait for that. I love cooking and making people happy. One day that dream will come true.

Snow 2008

Yeah! Snow Day

Well it finally happened. We got a snow that would close the schools. People misunderstand the concept of a snow day. It is not just a day to not do anything. It is more than that. It is a surprise, not on a calendar or made in advanced. Yes, I know some teachers can take a "mental" sick day but there is guilt that comes from that and I am not one of those teachers. It really comes down to a day that families are forced to spend together. It really is a day of doing nothing with no guilt. Look at our babies. They were so excited about the snow. Sinbad was more uspset because it hid his scent but Ashley is still a puppy and was running, jumping, pouncing and eating the snow. It was so cute.

You love it don't you. I was experimenting with the webcam that is attached to my new laptop. This is the picture that I can come up with. I just needed to add something to my blog so Ms. Ellen won't give me a hard time. If it snows tomorrow I will have more to add.
