The Winter Break

Riley was the first one this year to get the bra box. Every year, a male in the family gets a bra box for Christmas and Riley, my nephew, was it. It was his first time and he couldn't understand why he got a bra box. Inside was a new shirt. He was a little confused on why we would do that. He doesn't have a nunu. He has a dinky. Jacob is at the right age to love Christmas. We had it late at Grandma's because this was Bryan's Christmas. He was really good because Santa came to visit him not once but twice. Here you can see breakfast all over his face, too.
Gracie Anna loved her first Christmas. She didn't care about presents. She was just happy to get everyone's attention. Here she looks like a young Danny Devito.

My mother has the most impressive Christmas Cactus I have ever seen. It covers a huge area and every year during Christmas it has the biggest reddest blooms that are totally gorgeous.

Here is my mom. She is my girl. We love each other and she is a great mom. I get teary-eyed just thinking about how much I miss her. I only get to see her two or three times a year. We love Christmass. She always gets new underwear. I get to throw out my old holey underwear and get to dawn new ones on Christmas Day.

Look at my man. He was so happy when we spent Christmas at his parents. He got a lot of cool stuff. Bryan's parents also bought me some great gifts. I got the coolest pair of boots and some great shirts. I loved his parents and they love me, too. We are so lucky that both of our parents are so accepting and care about our partners. It couldn't be easier even if I wanted to.

This is Bryan's gift. It was a faux fur cover for our couch from his favorite shop, Pottery Barn.

I don't know how to change or rotate this; but this is Bryan's mom's tree. It is covered with ornaments gallore. She and Bryan collect Hallmark ornaments and have for many many years. Her tree is always impressive.

Look at my babies. Aren't they adorable? Sinbad (first picture) and Ashley spent Christmas at the Chenal Pet Palace in their own room with a television. The place was nice, but we won't put Sinbad through it ever again. After dropping them off, I cried like a baby for twenty minutes. We almost went back to get them. When we picked them up they were very excited but when we got home, Sinbad went to the back bathroom and hid all day and night. Ashley slept all day and night. I don't think they got any sleep with all those dogs barking all day long. Anyway, the Sinbad had a serious case of gas. I mean SERIOUS. He stunk us out for days. Saturday before New Year's he shot diarreha all over the place. I do mean shot. It was shot shit. His stomach finally calmed down and the vet said that since Sinbad has never been in that situation, he probably got stressed. Well he is too old to do that to him again.

There they are; the two loves of my life. Ms. Hagood and my boyfriend. Look at them. Can you guess which one has been drinking? If not, you are not smarter than a fifth grader. I had a great time at the annual Zies Christmas Party 2007. There were a lot of cool people there; mostly just staff venting about their year so far. Ms. Durham didn't get to come and that made me sad but I drink a litte and ate a little and laughed a little. It was fun.

New Years I just sat in my underwear on the couch and watched the television, drank a little, and ate a little. I had a cheese ball, Brie, hummus, and Hot Cajun Cock. For midnight, we shared champagne with Mark and Gwyenn and was in bed by 12:30. I ate my black-eyed peas and hog jawl, too.
