My brother, Jeramie and our new edition. This is Anna Grace Felton. She is only a few months old in this picture but she will still your heart away.
This year, Thanksgiving was on my mother's 59 birthday. I cooked dinner for her. We had (picture below) Cranberry Bourbon Pork Lion, Dressing, green bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce, buttermilk mash potatoes, bacon and apple brussel sprouts, pecan tart, and deviled eggs. I made a raisin pie for my step-father, too. He loves raisin pie.
Riley and Jacob are my two nephews. This is Loran, my step-father reslting with the boys. They spent the night with us so their mother could go shopping the next day.
Coming in on Tuesday night, my back left tire had a blow out. It was dark and cold and on that country road there are no street lights. I was scared half out of my wits. People drove by but no one stopped. So much for that infamous southern hospitality. Of course, it could have been my long hair, big city tags and the bumper sticker denouncing evolution that might have been a deterant.
Overall, the four day break was fun. I got home Saturday and was happy to get to my baby! I missed him horribly.
